Laser hair removal can cause some discomfort, often described as a sensation similar to a rubber band snapping against the skin. Pain tolerance varies from person to person, and it may be more uncomfortable in sensitive areas. Some people opt for numbing creams or cooling devices to minimize discomfort during the procedure.

Age spots, also known as liver spots or solar lentigines, are caused by prolonged sun exposure over many years. Ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun accelerates the production of melanin, the pigment responsible for skin color. Over time, this excess melanin can clump together in certain areas of the skin, leading to the formation of age spots. They are more common in older adults and typically appear on areas of the skin that have had the most sun exposure, such as the face, hands, shoulders, and arms. While age spots are usually harmless, they are a sign of sun damage and can be prevented or minimized by using sunscreen, wearing protective clothing, and avoiding excessive sun exposure.
